Process Stages
01 — The Six-Stage Process

From Research Identification to Published Profile

Every ingredient profile published on Arkabin passes through six discrete stages. Each stage produces a documented output that is archived in the internal reference system before the next stage commences.

01
Research Identification

Peer-reviewed journal articles are identified through indexed databases. Inclusion criteria: human studies published within the past ten years, with documented intake parameters and measurable output metrics relevant to active men's nutritional requirements.

Output: Research Reference Log
02
Ingredient Profile Drafting

The qualified nutrition professional drafts the ingredient profile drawing on the reference log. Each profile records active content concentration ranges, known interaction notes from published research, and intake timing windows mapped to circadian absorption data.

Output: Draft Profile v1
03
Supplier Identification

Active ingredients are sourced from documented suppliers maintaining food-grade processing standards. Supplier engagement is initiated through formal written request, and each supplier is required to provide a chain-of-custody declaration before any batch documentation is accepted.

Output: Supplier Engagement Record
04
Independent Batch Verification

Each batch undergoes independent verification through a third-party laboratory. The verification scope covers elemental composition against the declared active content range, labelling accuracy, and absence of undeclared additives. Results are compared against the draft ingredient profile.

Output: Batch Certificate + Lab Report
05
Editorial Review

The research coordinator cross-references the draft profile against the batch verification output. Any discrepancy between declared and verified composition triggers a suspension of the profile and a formal supplier query. The profile is not advanced until the discrepancy is resolved in writing.

Output: Review Sign-Off Document
06
Publication and Archival

The finalised ingredient profile is published to the Arkabin resource with its associated reference log, batch certificate, and supplier engagement record. All documents are archived under a batch-coded reference that appears on the published profile for traceability.

Output: Published Profile + Archive Entry
02 — Sourcing Standards

Supplier Qualification Criteria

Arkabin maintains a restricted supplier list. Admission to the active supplier register requires meeting all four qualification criteria simultaneously. A supplier that meets three of four criteria is placed on the pending list and not referenced in published profiles until full qualification is achieved.

Arkabin is an independent wellness resource focused on everyday nutrition and active lifestyle practices for men. The content is not affiliated with any governmental or institutional body. Supplier relationships are engagement-only — no commercial arrangement, revenue share, or promotion agreement is in place with any listed supplier.

01
Chain-of-Custody Documentation

A complete chain-of-custody declaration covering raw material origin, processing facility, and distribution pathway must be provided before any batch is accepted.

02
Food-Grade Processing Confirmation

The supplier's processing facility must maintain food-grade handling standards, confirmed by documentary evidence renewed annually.

03
Third-Party Lab Acceptance

The supplier must consent in writing to independent laboratory verification of any batch referenced in an Arkabin ingredient profile.

04
Annual Documentation Renewal

All supplier documentation is subject to annual renewal. Suppliers who do not renew within the 30-day renewal window are moved to inactive status and removed from active ingredient profile citations.

03 — Research Framework

Peer-Reviewed Research Selection Criteria

The Arkabin research selection framework applies five filters to every candidate publication before it is admitted to the reference log. These filters are applied consistently across all ingredient categories.

Indexed Publication

Only studies published in indexed journals with a documented peer review process are admitted. Preprints, conference abstracts, and grey literature are excluded from the reference log.

Human Study Requirement

In vitro and animal model studies are noted in the margin of the reference log but are not used as primary evidence for intake parameter recommendations. Human study data takes precedence.

Recency Filter

Primary evidence is drawn from studies published within the past ten years. Foundational studies from before this window may be cited for context but are flagged with their publication date in the reference entry.

Measurable Parameters

Studies must report quantified intake parameters (dosage range, frequency, duration) and at least one measurable output metric applicable to active men's nutritional requirements. Qualitative-only studies are excluded.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Studies with undisclosed or significant commercial conflicts of interest are flagged in the reference log and are not used as sole-source evidence. Multi-study consensus is required when a funding conflict is noted.

Annual Re-evaluation

Each ingredient profile's reference log is reviewed annually for new published evidence. Where new data supersedes prior recommendations, the profile is updated and the revision is dated and documented in the archive entry.

04 — Verification Standards

Batch Verification Scope and Reporting

Ingredient profiles in Arkabin supplements are selected based on published nutritional research and undergo independent batch verification for quality and labelling accuracy. The verification scope is fixed and applies uniformly to every batch regardless of supplier history.

Active ingredients are sourced from documented suppliers, with each batch accompanied by a certificate of composition. Sourcing prioritises suppliers whose facilities maintain food-grade processing standards.

The verification report produced for each batch is archived under a unique batch reference code. This code appears on the published ingredient profile, allowing the editorial team and readers to trace any profile back to its specific verification documentation.

Verification Scope — Fixed Parameters
  • Elemental composition analysis against declared active content range
  • Label accuracy verification (weight, active content declaration)
  • Undeclared additive screening
  • Heavy metal concentration check against food-grade thresholds
  • Moisture and stability assessment
Not Covered by Verification Scope
  • Bioavailability assessment (requires human study data)
  • Interaction profiling with other supplement formulations
  • Shelf-life verification beyond 12 months
05 — Editorial Cycle
